Lazaro Villarreal

American artist born and raised on the Northside of Chicago.  Lazaro’s preferred art medium is acrylic.  

Lazaro grew up doodling on every piece of paper he could find, but did not take his passion to the next level until 2010.

His biggest inspiration comes from the colorful people he has encountered throughout his childhood who made an impression on him to this day.

Being of Mexican descent, he was influenced by all the vibrant color and drama he was exposed to by his family and on trips to the Mexican neighborhood of Pilsen in the early 80s.
