This collection came about during the 2020 lockdown, when Clark began purchasing more and more vinyl records to keep him sane. He challenged himself to create art with the cardboard pieces that sandwiched the albums. He realized he loved the medium. “There was a tactile feeling of felt tip pen along course material. The corrugation working in unison with the parallel lines. The line work was meditational for me. I got lost in sound and vision. The lines brought me home, back to myself, reconnecting me with the world” This is how the collection, “Parallel Lines” was created.
