Search for redemption

The figure with the lie-bumps on her tongue haunts, even pesters the character, who is too caught-up in herself to rouse herself from thought. This painting is a prayer for healing and resilience, a prayer to grow again, both physically and emotionally. It's also a figural depiction of the consequences of my actions that follow me around and are very hard to shake off.
